Rachel began her yoga journey in 1999 as a compliment to her martial arts training in Yoshukai. After completing her first class in an actual studio in 2001, Rachel knew that yoga and its many benefits were something she wanted to share with others.
As an instructor, Rachel shares her knowledge and compassion for the practice in a safe and welcoming environment. Her current styles of teaching include Ashtanga, Vinyasa and Yin Yoga.
“My passion for yoga is deeply rooted by the comfort of being able to share connections, emotions, inspiration and knowledge with every step through this journey called life. I am so grateful for my teachers, mentors, family members, friends and students who inspire me to show up as myself and share experience.”
Ally worked for many years as a Spanish teacher, so it’s no surprise that she wanted to marry her teaching experience and passion for yoga. In 2019, she attended Hatha 200 hour teacher training at Rishikesh Yogpeeth in Rishikesh, India. The depth of her training included asanas (poses), yoga philosophy, anatomy, meditation and pranayama breathing. She is eager to share her passion for yoga as a way to not only build strength but to connect the mind and body.
Yoga has been life changing for Ally and she is passionate about sharing her experience with others.
