About This Class
Mysore is the traditional method for practicing Ashtanga yoga. Students learn a series of postures with individual instruction from the teacher. Each student learns at their own speed and builds a practice over time. In Mysore class everyone’s practice is unique and instruction is personalized. No yoga experience is needed to begin.
As long as you leave yourself enough time to finish your practice, you may arrive at any time to a Mysore class. New students can expect to spend 45 minutes to an hour for their first class.
Moon Days & Ashtanga
In line with ancient tradition, we do not run classes during Full and New Moon Days. Giving your body a rest from yoga during these ways goes a long way to connecting your body, mind and soul with the natural rhythms of your environment.
