If you’re new to Ashtanga yoga, our Intro to Ashtanga Series is a four-week program to set you up for Ashtanga success. We run this series at regular intervals throughout the year, you can register for the next one below.

About This Series

Learn the basics of Ashtanga Yoga in a welcoming and supportive environment. In this four-class series, students will learn the basic technique for connecting breath and movement through the beginning sequence of postures. Each student will work at their own level.

In addition to postures we will cover philosophy, breathing techniques, and the benefits of practicing in a Mysore style class.

Class size is limited to allow individual instruction.

Next Series begins March 4. 

This class will meet Saturday from 11:00am for four weeks. March 4, 11, 18 & 25

Investment $110 – includes four intro classes plus an unlimited access to all classes at Birmingham Yoga for 30 days.
