Our Intro to Ashtanga Series is a four-week program designed to help begin and maintain a yoga practice. We run this series at regular intervals throughout the year, you can register for the next one below.
About This Series
Learn the basics of Ashtanga Yoga in a welcoming and supportive environment. In this four-class series, students will learn the basic technique for connecting breath and movement through the beginning sequence of postures. Each student will work at their own level.
In addition to postures we will cover philosophy, breathing techniques, and the benefits of practicing in a Mysore style class.
Class size is limited to allow individual instruction.
Next Series Jan 7, 14, 21 and 28
This class will meet Sunday from 12pm to 1pm for four weeks.
Investment $125 – includes four intro classes plus an unlimited access to all classes at Birmingham Yoga in January and February.
