Intro to Ashtanga
Learn the basics of Ashtanga Yoga in a welcoming and supportive environment. In this four class series students will learn the basic technique for connecting breath and movement through the beginning sequence of postures. Each student will work at their own level.
In addition to posture alignment and variations, students will be introduced to philosophy of Ashtanga Yoga, breathing techniques, and the benefits of practicing in a Mysore style class.
Class meets once a week at a scheduled time. Registration includes unlimited access to all classes at Birmingham Yoga for one month.
Class size is limited to allow individual instruction.
