Join us for an hour exploring and learning about the fourth limb of Ashtanga Yoga, Pranayama. Pranayama involves the extension and control of the breath or life force.
Breathing is fundamental to our existence and something that we have conscious control of, yet for most people we spend a large portion of life with little to no awareness of it. Pranayama offers an opportunity to bring focused attention to the various processes involved in breathing. By restraining and lengthening or drawing out the breath our state of mind can be dramatically influenced. It is recommended that participants have an established yoga practice.
