6 week Series: January 12th - February 16th 5:30pm – 6:45pm

In this six week series the student will be given the building blocks for the union of the breath, body and mind through yoga. Classes will be interactive with an opportunity for the student to ask questions to gain a better understanding of the basics of yoga. A new concept will be introduced each week such as breathing, body awareness, and basic asanas (postures). This class is based on the Ashtanga method which can be physically demanding so be prepared to sweat. At the end of the series the student should feel confident walking into any Ashtanga level 1 class and we encourage students to progress into the Beginner Series with Akasha.
