This six week class series, taught by Justinn Overton, will draw from Ashtanga Yoga Primary & Intermediate Series to build heat and explore your physical body, subtle body, and emotional responses to opening your heart and your hips. Classes will incorporate and utilize props to find greater depth in restorative poses. Each week will provide methods to open your hips externally and internally, focus on the role of the side body and thoracic spine, help to support and release your psoas, and allow your heart to open and overcome fear so that you may settle deeper into yourself and the practice. These essential methods will support you in your daily practice.
