Ashtanga Beyond the Basics Series
In this four class series students will build on what was learned in the beginner series focusing primarily on the seated postures from the first section of the primary series. Each class will begin with guided sun salutations and standing postures and progressively break down a section of seated postures exploring variations and modifications for individual students.
In addition to seated postures, students will be taught how to safely execute the seated vinyasa between each posture.
Class meets Saturday at 11am for 75 minutes. The course fee includes unlimited access to classes at Birmingham Yoga for one month.
Class size is limited to allow individual instruction. All discussion and practice will be appropriately socially distanced and doors will be open to the outdoors to allow increased ventilation in the yoga room. Mask will be required when you are not on your yoga mat and the instructor will be wearing a mask at all times.
